Penrose was born in 1993 thanks to the intuition and entrepreneurial skills of Susanna Vecchi , the artistic director and owner of the company, who took over a historical corsetry shop of the fifties in Bologna and, who has, in short , transformed it into a young and dynamic company, specialising in lingerie for brides. Absolute and compelling value : neo-chic , high quality, and innovative research. Last but not least: the high quality of the service offered to its clients. This is one of the most important and consolidated strengths of the company, in which Susanna has always believed . But let’s talk about her. Susanna is diffident, pragmatic, brilliant and courageous, just like her creations; Susanna circumvents the evidence and does not want to be in the foreground: she is adventurous , suggestive , underling without revealing herself. However, she is able to build the perfect silhouette, one in which everything is calibrated on the body, able to face any eventuality . Is it difficult? Almost impossible, but she does it . The look is always attentive and responsive to the changing world of fashion, with variations in inspiration , attitude and trend . All this is combined with the tailoring of new creations , which is crucial to the success of  Penrose , which is in tireless pursuit of new areas in which to express her creativity . The steps forward ar e small but secure: patented hi-tech fabrics, laser cuts , invisible seams. She focuses on the relationships with the clients by offering customised solutions, exclusive corners, following the waves of trends not only in fashion. While consolidating the innovation of her product, she opens the door elsewhere.
In 2005, Penrose widens the horizons and devotes  a new shoe collection to its young and beautiful brides , called Penrose Shoes. The idea is winner : its creations are immediately loved . After a few seasons, in 2010 O’Pen Shoes was founded ; the basic line was young and bubbly , winning the hearts of brides with new ideas, which were original and fun . Elegant designs, well-balanced lines and proportions, compositions realized under the confines of art, materials of high quality:  the values with which Penrose crafts its creations have remained unchanged. Innovative research continues still, unstoppable, always curious and looking towards the future.
